Does an eMedical exam automatically get sent to IRCC without submitting a PR application?

Hello,

Just had an eMedical and the panel physician would like to run some additional tests before completing my report which may take another two weeks.

Question: Will IRCC receive my medical report regardless of me submitting an eAPR? I'm hesitant to submit my eAPR right now in the event there are abnormalities with my medical.

But, if I know that the IRCC is going to receive this report to be held on my record indefinitely, then I might as well just submit my PR application now and get the process rolling.

Any insight?

Probably not without knowing your file number. I don’t think it’ll make a difference if they find “abnormalities” now because the file number will stay the same for these follow-up tests even if you choose to submit later.

No harm...it won’t proceed anyway until your panel physician updates the eMedical file.
