Does a sponsor need to submit police checks after SA?

Hello everyone,

I contacted my VO to see if my husband needs a police check submitted from our current country of residence where we have been living for 5 months and I received the following response:

You must submit original police certificates from each country where you/your spouse have lived for 6 or more months in a row since age 18.

We will be going over the 6 month mark in a week. Does this mean I (the sponsor) also have to submit a check even though I passed SA?

Sponsor doesn't need to submit police certificates. Sponsor is already a PR/Citizen.
