Hello,

My PR is recently approved and I have received my passports back. I have a few questions about landing in Canada.

1. What documents do I need to carry with me (for me as well as for my dependent)?
2. I live right on the US Canada boarder. So I was planning to drive there. Do I need to carry documents related to my vehicle registration with me?
3. I am planning to return to US on the same day and not going back to Canada at least for next 6 months. Do I need to get a one time PR card to enter Canada next time? If yes, what is the procedure for the same.
4. I do not have any mailing address in Canada to send my PR card. What are my options in this case?

Thank you in advance. :-)

1. COPR, Passports, Proof of Finances, Goods to Follow
2. Since you're leaving the same day and not importing your car, you don't need anything more than the usual registration paperwork that must be in your car already.CBSA is unlikely to ask for anything, but of course you have to legally carry registration at all times.
3. You can reenter Canada with your CoPR if you're going to drive in your personal vehicle. In addition, you'll probably have your PR card by then.
4. If you don't know anyone, you can use forwarding services from UPS or the like. Make sure the address isn't a PO Box - it should be a street address.
