Documents to CIO, NS

I'm sending my initial documents to CIO NS in the first week of January with the original IELTS and Reference letter. My question is do i have to send one more set of these documents to NEW DELHI visa office once CIO approves my application or will they only send my documents to VIsa office new delhi with 120 days time limit to submit missing documents. Seniors please help me with this. I have not made any copies of these documents so far.

Hi

You are applying under new rules so you will not have to send another set of documents to visa office, CIO will forward your documents to your visa office and no deadline of 120 days will be given. All you need to do is send all your documents to CIO and once it cleared first stage they will send your the email and forward your documents to your visa office.

Thanks a lottt for your prompt reply saki,
I have a question then so what about Police clearance certificate. I have not even applied for it. I have to get pcc from Russia and my spouse from USA. So should i start now or wait till i get any news from CIO?

Hi,

You can send the other documents without PCC, below are wording from cic about PCC.

We strongly recommend that you submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, please note that if your application is placed into processing you must be ready to submit them to the visa office when requested.

So send the application without them but apply from them ASAP so that when visa officer request you for the PCC you have them ready to submit.
