Hi,
Are there anyone who has send there documents just before deadline & documents not opened by sydney office so they send another letter for closing the file because not providing with sufficient documents.
* Deadline for documents was 9 August 2009
* Documents sent on 4 August 2009
* Letter received from London office on 1st September that documents not recived so closing the file.
* another letter for London office on 15 September with new file number.

Please comment on this topic, still not sure weather they are verifying the documents or taken it as fresh application.
I would request to all who are submitting there documents to do it atlease 15 days prior to deadline.

Thanks in advance
Regards to ALL

Rajesh

the first letter was an error as the officer probably did not find your file at this time so he wrote that letter after few days due to a delay in the post your complete file was received so

the officer has corrected his error by sending the new file number

good luck

I believe once you submit your initial application to Sydney, the best thing is to commence the gathering of necessary supporting documents for your final application. Don't wait until you receive the 120days notice before you commence. That will put you under enormous pressure. I have since too many threads where many people waited until the last few days. That is very risky.

Plan properly and you wouldn't waste your precious time and effort.
