Documents Requirements from CRA - Inland Spouse Sponsorship

Hello everyone,

Good Evening.

I am about to send my application of inland spouse this end of march. Just finalizing everything.

Regarding the Document Checklist IMM 5443 (02-2016) E on page 2 of 2.

PROOF OF INCOME FOR SPONSOR (This section applies only to sponsors who are not residents of Quebec)
1. Attached the following:
• Your last Notice of Assessment for the most recent taxation year along with printouts of all income slips (e.g. T4,
T4E, T5 and T5007). You can view (and print) your tax return(s) as well as other personal tax information using the CRA’s My Account online service. To register or login, visit www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount.

Currently i have my most recent T4 and waiting for my Notice of assesment for my most recent taxation year.

1. for the income slips, do i have to provide January 2015 up to December 2015 including January 2016 to March 2016?
2. Do i have to provide T5 as well?

What else do i need to provide?

I don't think they are going to be that picky about the income, but generally you provide income for the last 12 months. You can also provide income for January - December 2015 to cover the tax season.

If you have a T5 you should include it.

You also should include a letter from your employer if you are still employed, stating your period of employment, salary, and regular hours per week.

Surely the latest Taxation year is 2014, as the deadline for 2015 tax year hasn't passed yet? Then for proof of income you'd include required documents for the last 12 months - March 2015 - March 2016?

OP says they're waiting for the latest Notice of Assessment, so I assume that means they've done their taxes for 2015.

Thank you JamesBox and Aquakitty for the information, It's a big help.
I already filed my 2015 tax yesterday, Just waiting for my notice of assessment for 2015 from CRA.

1. I do have January 2015 to December 2015 plus January 2016 up to March 2016 Income slips.
2. T4 for 2015
3. RRSP ITR official receipt from Scotia bank.
4. Employment certificate from my employer
5. 2015 Notice of assessment still waiting

The only thing that is missing is my Notice of assessment for 2015. I requested for a Net file so that i can received it
in 2 weeks time.

is this enough?
