Hello,
I have been selected for a hand therapy fellowship at Ontario, Canada. It is an unpaid 4.5 months long fellowship. Currently I am in USA on H1B. I am an Indian citizen. I was guided on CanadaVisa forum that I'll need TRV to complete this fellowship as it is less than six months in length. Please help me with further questions:

1) For the question: What is the main purpose of your visit? (required) - What shall I choose - To visit family/friends, To conduct business, Tourism, To attend an interview, or Other?
I have selected "other" as I have a condition letter of acceptance for the fellowship.

2) I have a conditional letter of acceptance from the Hospital. Will this serve as "Invitation Letter"? Will I need any other documents from the hospital?

3) What documents do I need for clearing immigration at the border? I plan to drive either through NY or Michigan.

4) Will I need a Medical/health check-up from an agency recognized by immigration Canada?

5) How much financial funds will serve as sufficient financial funds to get Visa?

5) If I quit my job in US and then go for fellowship - will Immigration Canada grant me access to visit Canada? Is this advisable?

Please guide. Thank you.

It is very rare for temporary visitors to be permitted to work in hospitals in Canada without medical exams. Your application will be a challenging one. Make sure you have strong invitation letter and supporting documents.
