What are the supporting documents required with the reference letters? What all are compulsory?

Thanks! But what about the other documents like pay slips, income tax certificate.
Are not they compulsory? Do people get accepted without them.

Better to be safe : Put everything you have about your employment like :-
1. Pay Stubs
2. Reference Letter
3. Offer Letter
4. Any Promotion Letters

Put all the main points in reference letter like :- No.of Hours,Job Start Date,Sufficient no. of roles & responsibilities,full/part time, permanent/contract basis etc .
