Hello,

So my wife and I will be making a short landing in a few days for my PR. I got my COPR a month back.

What documents do i need to bring with me, other than my COPR document, passport, visa and proof of funds? From the info i've read, the aforementioned documents are all i need. am i missing anything?

Also, when do i declare the value of personal belongings like furniture, jewellry etc? I dont plan on making the final to move to Canada in this upcoming trip (since its just a short landing).

And what are the B4 / B4A forms??

You will also need goods to follow and accompanying list just in case, and photographs as a precaution

Agree with Wolverine17. You should submit them the goods list even if you are not moving right now. Remember you should also have recent proof of funds, like from the last few weeks.

This is the form you need if you plan to import your belongings into Canada, i.e. goods to follow.

You do not have to use this form. You can simply type up a list of goods accompanying and goods to follow. The agent at the border will quickly draw up the official form and attach your list and stamp everything. Just make sure the list has your personal information, list of items (or groups of items), and approx current value in CAD. Use serial numbers for products that have them like TVs, and attach pictures of high value items like jewelry. Good luck!

@ali357 can you pls share your landing experience? Were you asked to show goods to accompany and follow lists ? I am also planning a short landing and don't see any sense in declaring my belongings now because I don't plan to make a permanent move for another year at least. Pls help
