I am from India. It is a month since im married. My husband is a canadian citizen and I am applying for Permanent Resident under spouse sponsorship. They have asked for birth certificate.Incase that is not available or birth has been registered late then they need Baptism certificate, voter's ID, along with old school records of 5th standard, middle standard and matriculation.what exactly is middle standard or a middle standard record? What are they refering to? Is it grade 7 or grade 8,grade 9 or all? My birth wasn't registered then so I need to provide these documents.I tried calling up and sending email to visa office at New Delhi but no response. Please help.Thank you.

dont get panic, i was in same situation and sent my 10th class certificate, pp copy, voter card, PAN card and everything else to show my date of birth. i sent on affidavit from my parents confirming my date of birth and and explain that birth was not registered. you can get one "NOT FOUND CERTIFICATE" from registration office, send that certificate as well. if you need any other help, send me personal message
good luck :)
