Hello,
I am an engineer with 10 years of experience and I would like to immigrate in Canada as a skilled worker. However, I have some questions :
Must I be working or resident in the contry to apply for this visa?
Can my family come with me?
Which documents should I provide the Canadian embassy?
Thanking you in advance for your help.

Hi

Download and read this guide:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf

Then take a Test to see if you make the 67 Points:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/Education.asp

Then see the Check List for Documents:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

This will give you a detailed and clear view of where you stand and what to arrange for.

Yes, you have to work and you have to be the resident in a country to apply for Visa. You can bring your family too.
