Documents for Spousal Open Work Permit

Hi,
I know this is a common question but I havent been able to find the answer that i was looking for, so I thought I'd start a new post.
What proof of funds do i have to show for my spouse's open work permit? Few people have said that theres no fixed amount specified.
My question is that will my spouse's ITR be required or Bank statement? Will I need to show the funds in my account or his?
I'm still in the process of appying for my Student visa.

There is no specific amount and an SOWP is never guaranteed for spouses of international students. Would include proof of savings for the both of you, property ownership, etc.

Right, but will it be okay if the savings are all in my account? Can I show that I will support? Or do i need to showing some money in my spouse's account?
