Hi Everyone,

I am planning to move in Toronto in a month time. Kindly if someone can answer the following questions
  • What Documents i will required to rent a 1 Bedroom Flat, as i don’t have any credit history or Job
  • Any suggestion for authentic recourse for finding a flat (as websites are giving very completed result)

many thanks in advance.

1) Generally you need to tell more about yourself before the landlord would accept your offer to rent
2) check craiglist for rental listings

Hi,

Most landlord ask for credit history and employer information but if you can negotiate these things with landlord.

You can offer more deposit so landlord will be comfrtable that if you will not be able to pay rent he has your deposit.

If u need more info email me @ livefaisal@hotmail.com

Hi,

I have a similar situation... If I offer 6 months rent in advance, would that be sufficient? Or landlords can demand more?

Thanks...

It's illegal for landlords to ask more, but to sweeten the deal you might offer more ;)
