Hello everyone,

Request you to shed light on below for Express Entry.

1. As an Indian Bank account holder, many banks are not in a position to provide any certificate based on the requirements of Express Entry. If I don't get such certificate, can we submit the account statement hosted by many PSU banks on their internet banking? If it ok?
2. From the posts i have read, it is suggested that we should submit the proof of fund just for the fund requirement (e.g. 6 lacs) prescribed by IRCC for the applicant. Please validate this understanding.
3. Also, is it required that the fund requirement (6 lacs) should be in your account for 6 months or required fund transfer can be done before application processing?

Pleas help.

1. An online statement print out is not acceptable. You should provide a statement with the original bank seal stamped on it.
2. Your balance should meet or exceed the minimum settlement fund required per capita (in Canada) at the time of submitting your application and maintain it until your permanent residency is confirmed (complete landing).
3. While recommended, you do not need to hold the required funds in your account for 6 months. However, you must provide a statement disclosing the average balance for the past 6 months; and therefore, should be able to explain the source of income, debit turnover, and/or credit turnover.
