If you are sponsoring someone other than a spouse & sponsorship application is co signed by your spouse then you need to attach a copy of Marriage Certificate.

there was no co signer in our application so is that just our marriage cerificate?

If you are sponsoring your spouse then you have to enclose photocopy of your marriage certificate anyway.
