document certification

I am the principle applicant and I an from the UK - My daughter is born here in the UK too and mum is Canadian.
We are about to send our application and need to know if we should get our documents certified as being genuine copies of the original. ? Is it only if they need to be translated that this applies? help please.....

i'm pretty sure it's only if you need to get documents translated. there isn't anything in the application that states to get documents certified otherwise. save your money!
