Which category did you choose? Did you choose the licensed profession category?

I believe doctors cannot use WES; you have to use the Medical Council of Canada: http://mcc.ca/repository/educational-credential-assessment/

I meant medical professions in general,i am a dentist

For everyone except physicians and pharmacists you use wes

For a dentist it's equal to masters which yes is licensed profession category, my wes report said 5 years of professional study in dentistry (Alexandria University)

We fall under the licensed professionals category.
Even with an MDS

On a side note.. Seeing that you guys are dentists, what's your plan on landing?
DDS or the NDEB Licensing exam?

Too early to tell,do you have any info in that regards

Wolverine, I'm still hanging in the pool, hoping for a kind draw soon but I start my masters soon, so life is going either way:)
Yeah this forum is very very helpful, so far no need for am attorney at all

Sabretooth, yeah too early to tell, dds is very competitive and expensive (going for a loan will drain you for years to come) but there's no doubt dds is the better option

As far as i know loans are paid on very long terms and even not the full amount

Yep.. I am an Endodontist and am working as the KOL for a dental material company as well.
So I m planning on joining up with the Canadian office of the same company for a couple of years, build up a credit report and then apply for a loan for DDS.
My wife on the other hand will probably be joining DDS asap.
Or at least an DA course for the time being.
Depends on how easily we can get the loan.
Repayment is a long drawn process over the next 20 years. So no worries there ;) :D

I applied using a representative and an Attorney.
Didn't know much about the system then. Learned a lot since through the forum and my own experience.
So if any one needs assistance in matters pertaining to the EE, lemme know.
Plus I ve got a ton of reading material for the NDEB. Text books, papers, the lot.. :) PM me for the material.
Raring to get back to academics after a 3 year stint in clinical dentistry :D ;) :D ;)
