There is nothing wrong in failure. It is much better to try than dreaming all your life and not doing it.

that is true but there are many stupids out there who don't do their home work, who think canada is land of dreams and who come here thinking they will be super rich and they will get a high class job straightaway..like this poster,, he /she has no knowledge and no idea what canada is about..they dream canada is heaven and after coming here they wake up from nightmare!! ;D

You maybe right, but it is his/her dream. There is a chance here, but as you said, one has to do some homework and be informed and realistic. Many immigrants here have made it in Canada and become very successful, whatever success is. It is not always money or the best job, sometimes success is happiness!

Dear friend,

A WISE man once truly said,

"If you can not say nice things to people, just do not utter bad words from your mouth!"

Hope I'm understood.

Even after having pharmacy license my friend didn't get the job.
How long have you been in canada and which stage did you reach in your licensure process??

Anybody has any informations about Biologists that want to work in Canada? I see it is not a regulated occupation in Ontario for example. Does that mean we do not have to get any additional education to find a job in a lab or in a national park etc.?

Hi astral
Biologists are regulated in Alberta & BC. So, you need a mandatory license to work.
In the rest, it's an asset if you have a certificate/license as a registered biologist. I've heard that registered biologists have greater chances of getting hired than those without one.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I have Ma in Biology (I did a master thesis on Faculty of medicine).
