Hi all,

Waiting for PR (Spousal category). I'm planning to visit my Husband. what docs should I carry apart from letters from the CIC, SS approval, marriage certificate and a one way return ticket to country of Birth six months out?. Wondering if i left out anything..

Many thanks

M

PS: I might be wrong here, but i read somewhere that a person with a long visitors record/history might actually face a delay PR processing.. is this true??.

Its not going to cause any delay . Every time my husband came to visit after we received SS he carried the approval letter and a letter from his company stating when they are expecting him back to work . He was never asked to show these documents , but CBSA already new from his passport he had an application in process. They once asked him are you visiting you wife and that's all .
He was always careful of what he brought in his luggage , nothing that would look like he was going to do any work here while visiting.
