Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
im now at centennial college 1st semester, 5/7 professors told us to buy books.

f**k, do we came here to spend $500 on books per semester, teachers dont teach well and say to just buy books.

we have pc hardware class, we are required to open the CPU case, and guess what, the computers are arranged in a way it is so hard to actually move the cpu's and stuff.

i have this 1 math teacher, when she writes solution on the board, after 3-5 mins, that solution is erased, she wont use the other side of board.
also this teacher says to buy the code online, for us to get the quizzes, quizzes are 10%, code is i think $70. (facepalm)
so if we dont buy the code, we lose 10% of total final score.

Look for second hand books or pdf versions of the books online. (The latter isn't legal, I know...) Or try to take advantage of the college library if there is one. As far as I'm aware, students needing to acquire a textbook for most of the courses is normal in most universities in the western world. It has nothing to do with the teachers not teaching well, even if you went to Harvard or MIT you'd need to buy some books.
