Hi every one I applied inland spousal application my dependents got their passport request and they just submitted yesterday so I'm waiting now for my landing letter,, if I will land by next month my question is do I really need to wait for my pr card before I can go to the country where I can get my dependents?? Please share your experience thanks much in advance

no you do not need to wait for your PR card to travel out of canada. However, if you require a visa, you will have to apply for a PR Travel Document (PRTD) to fly back to canada. Once you are at immigration in canada, you can use your passport and COPR to enter. IT's the flying to canada that requires the PR card or PRTD.

Why not wait and land with your dependents. A travel document might take longer than the PR card.

if the applicant is inland, i don't think it would be possible to land at the same time as dependants living outside of canada. inland applicants require landing interviews at local offices by official notification and appointment. this applicant can't land with their dependants since the dependants are outside of canada and would land at the airport upon their arrival. the inland applicant can't go to the airport to land, and the dependants more than likely can not land at the landing interview specifically for the inland principal applicant.
