Do we need to provide any clarification on EE if there is few months of gap in my work history ?

Hi All,

In Express Entry profile there is a form for "Work Experience".

I have few months of gap between one of my jobs. Is there a provision to provide an explanation on EE?

Also after my class 12 I took a year gap to study for competitive exams in India. Is there a provision to provide explanation?

How does these gaps affect my application. Any inputs would be much appreciated.

No need to worry about gaps if you are just completing the EE profile. Later, if you receive an ITA and get to complete the background history for the eAPR, (Application for Permanent Residence), then you will have to provide a complete history with no gaps.
