Do we need to pay for "books and supplies"?

bec. the fees of books and supplies are NOT included in tuition fees, these fees are separate.

so books and supplies are optional? not required?

Books are not optional. If you want to pass the course, you'll need books to study.

bec. from what i see in other topics or maybe other forums, they said we can just buy 2nd hand books with less cost.

there are stores within college and of course outside too! outside store is obviously cheaper (both are for used books) and the same books you can sell once ur program is over to the same store at discount of 10 to 30% of the value you bought it for... and you need not buy all the books coz for some, u will find material online (intranet - college) and you can download, print them out... so really not to worry much about books...

u normally get photo copies (xerox) of books....second hand books r expensive too..normally around $30-$60

You can definitely buy the books second hand. Many do. No need to buy them new.

But you need the textbook material in some format to pass your courses.
