Do we need to mention about Express Entry profile in pool for new SS package?

I have one application inactive due to IELTS expiration. Then I created a new application and it is in the pool. Should I mention about it in the forms, if yes, then where?

Also, shall I withdraw it?

CIC will see the previous application but find somewhere to mention it so that you show that you are not hiding anything. Not a big deal either way.
