Hi

I got confused on IELTS part for CEC. Do we require IELTS when we are applying under CEC.
Please clarify.

Yes - you need to take a language test.

As said you need at least a language test.

For English could be IETLS or CELPIP

An additional French test can provide some additional points

I don't have 1 year of Canada Exp, But Have 1650+ hours for my duration of 10 months.
Will it be counted as one year exp and counted as CEC applicant?

My pay slips shows that i have 1650+ hours.

Minimum requirements
You must:

have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply,
have gained your experience in Canada with the proper authorization,
meet the required language levels needed for your job for each language ability (speaking, reading, writing and listening),
plan to live outside the province of Quebec.
Self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (for example, on a co-op work term) does not count under this program.

12 months or equalant to 12 months which is 1650 hours?

Minimum 12 months full time.

You need a company letter stating initial work date, letter day (at least 1 year after) and hours worked.

I think 1650 hours apply as minimum when you did work partial time (you'll need more than 1 year to achieve it)

I worked for 10 months full time. My LMO Copy states that my weekly hours as 40 hours and same is there in payslips as well.
So it is coming around 1650+ hours.

So can you help on this. Will it be counted as CEC ?

for CEC experience calculation.. maximum of 30 hours are counted towards 1 week of full time work experience.. so any hours over 30 are not counted... since we need to work for atleast 52 weeks (12 months) that means 52x30=1560 hours.. if u work more than 30 hours a week.. they cannot be counted if working full time..

As far I know You should wait 2 months to apply, use the time to compile documents (english test, other reference letters, PCC...)

Anyways you can call CIC to double check it.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/hire/cec.asp

Weeks you've worked 30 hours or more count as 1 week
Weeks you worked less than 30 hours count as number of hours / 30 of a week (so 15 hours / week counts as 1/2 of a week of experience for CEC)

You need 1 full year of work, 30 hours/week or more. More hours don't shorten 1 year requirement.
If you work 20 hours/week you need 1.5 year for it to count as 1 year.

You need to work two more months full time before you will qualify for CEC.
