Hi Guys,

I am sponsoring my husband from the US and I was going through the photo specifications.

I know that he must have 4 recent photos and that it must meet the guidelines of the photos, but does he have to label the photos on the back of it??

I read somewhere that he must put the date that the picture was taken, not printed. Is that true?

We're about to hand in our application within the next week so you may see alot of questions by me. Heads up :)

Thanks guys

Not if you are going through CPP-O (the requirements vary slightly between visa offices based on regional requirements so it's always safest to check the checklist at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp for your visa office).

Good luck with your application :)

Hi spoken05,

In canada , most of the photographers stamp the photos with a date.
But this is not required as per law.

If your photos do not have a date, do not label them.

But you must label the envelope containing the photos with your name , dob , etc...
Hope it helps.
