Do they check previous profiles

Dear Members,

i wanted to know if cic guys would check my previous EE profile for information. I got 1 profile cancelled as incomplete and have got an ITA on a new profile. i have mentioned about my old profile in the relevant section.

However, in my old profile a couple of addresses i mentioned in the address history were not very accurate. I have since then gathered all information about the address history (including time lines) and have updated my new profile with this information. Some things like street numbers and zone names are different. The city is the same though. Also, the timelines for the address have changed.

Ex: in my earlier profile i put address a as from jan 2009-june 2012. after the new update, i put address a (slightly changed) from jan 2009 - feb 2009 and address b from mar 2009 - june 2012.

I fear the immigration officer might see a discrepancy in the address history (between the profiles) and reject / return the application.

any suggestions???

And by the way profile itself means nothing. It is what you submit in your eApr what they assess you about. you are talking about profile and not submitted application right?

i mean the previous e-apr had the incorrect info which i am going to correct in the new -apr which i will submit in a day or 2.

Have u submitted the old eapr that is my question and got rejected? Anyway doesn't matter you are safe.

Yes. the e-apr was submitted but was not processed as it was returned as incomplete(the processing fee was also returned).

It's good u made it clear because u said profile. I don't think it will be an issue especially in a detail such as address. But now u have to mention that you applied and was incomplete I guess since it was an application. Not sure where u mention that though.

in my personal history section they ask if you have applied to cic before. you can choose yes and enter your old EE profile number

I had my first app rejected as incomplete and in my case notes it clearly shows that they pulled it to compare/confirm information.
