One thing I need to be clear, do they award experience points on 38 NOC only?

For my case I have total 7 yrs of experience. But, experience with NOC 0213 for 1 yrs. Will they award me experience points for 0ne year or for seven?

Senior meets pls clarify.

You need one year experience in 38 occupation list to qualify.

You get Experience points for any Occupation under 0, A or B category. To have more information on category 0, A or B please read
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/FAQ.aspx

What are NOC Skill Types and Skill Levels?

The first digit of the NOC code identifies the Skill Type of an occupation.
•1 corresponds to Skill Level A
•2 or 3 correspond to Skill Level B
•4 or 5 correspond to Skill Level C
•6 corresponds to Skill Level D
Skill Level A represents occupations usually requiring university education. Skill Level B refers to occupations usually requiring college education or apprenticeship training.

thanks for the input.
But I come to know form cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf at page 27. point 10.12.
what does they restricted occupation mean?

it creates a confusion.. will they consider experience points on those 38 NOCs only? no clear indication anywhere..

I think you are talking about regulated occupation
About 20 per cent of jobs in Canada require you to have a licence before you can begin work for public safety reasons. Jobs that require a licence are called regulated occupations. You need special education and experience before you can get your licence to work in most regulated occupations.

You have mentioned that you are applying under 0213 and this is not a regulated occupation. Be assured that you get points for any Occupation under 0, A or B category.

I am watching this thread.

To be specific...
I have exp on :

0213: 1 yrs
0131: telecom manager: 3yrs
2133: EEE, telecom: 3 yrs
