HELLOOO Fellow Applicants,

I sent my application for spousal sponsorship in mid-july and now I'm thinking and thinking up mistakes I might have made. My parents wrote letters of support with a general tone of we support our daughter and son-in-law as they immigrate to Canada, we are helping them find a home to buy and we will offer a them a room in our home if they don't buy a house before they come to Canada etc.

I threw that in the package but i didn't have it notarized first. Was I support to?

If you applied as married couple, then no the support letter did not need to be notarized.

2 support letters must be notarized only for common-law apps from certain visa offices.

Wonderful! Thank you so much. I just recently found out I was approved as a sponsor and now my husband's application has begun to be processed. ;D
