Hello everyone,
I'm Rachel, from Israel, I'm a materials engineering student in my third year. Considering moving to Canada after my graduation with my boyfriend. (A materials engineering student as well).
I have been reading some posts in this forum for a while and I realized that finding a job in Canada as an immigrant (whether you have some work experience or not) - is really difficult. (I don't have any Canadian work experience...)
Therefore - I was thinking about the option of taking a professional course in Canada in a relevant field .Could it help at all in finding a job in the chemical/materials field?
my specific field of engineering is advanced materials engineering, it has to do a lot with microelectronics, *but* materials engineering is also a relevant degree for most/any chemical engineering fields.
I'm looking for some courses over the internet, but I would just like to hear some further opinions/info about it...
Another question: does Canadian second degree in this kind of field might help finding work too - but without any Canadian experience?
Thanks, Rachel
