do paper clips are accepted as I read in a basic guide imm 5525
When you submit the application package, remember to put forms in the order they are listed on your checklist (IMM 5533, IMM 5534, IMM 5589 or IMM 5629).
Do not use staples, binders, plastic sleeves, folders or albums to submit your application. Elastic bands for photos or paper clips are acceptable.
any suggestions please....

I think IMM5525 is pretty clear on the matter, it specifically says:

Do not use staples, binders, plastic sleeves, folders or albums to submit your application. Elastic bands for photos or paper clips are acceptable

So yes, if you need to, use paperclips or elastic bands, but none of the others listed.

Perhaps I do not understand your question?

thank for replying dear..my question is can we only use paperclips for photos or entire application like forms or supporting documents?

While I understand they want to be able to Scan/OCR the pages, I don't see why a staple in the corner would make that impossible. Maybe they're sick of removing them?

In either case, we paperclipped the individual form papers, and we used the big, heavy, black paperclips when we applied inland last year.

We used paper clips for everything as well. Although in the Dominican Republic they stamp and staple the legalized document right over where the stamp is. So we chose not to remove them and send the way it was stapled on our marriage certificate and police certificate. I hope they don't get mad or send it back for that. We left it because we didn't want to mess with the leagalized stamp.

No it's best left intact. My wife's translations also were bound and had a tamper sticker on the binding. We left them intant as well.
