The IMMs ask for specific documents to be uploaded.
There are documents that are only in native language, and documents that have English and/or French entries beside the native language (like passports)
Native language documents MUST be translated by a CERTIFIED translator AND the copy of the translation be authenticated by a OATH COMMISSIONER.
What about the documents having English and/or French entries?
Question: Do the copies of the documents need to be authenticated as being a true photocopy of a document certified? Also by an Oath Commissioner?

It works for most docs like passports (at least the 'tombstone' or bio page of passport): if they're designed to be multilingual and have one of english or french, no special steps needed, just like any other english or french document.

If they are documents in English or French PLUS some other foreign language, AND the content is the same (i.e. it is very clear that this is a multilingual document that only repeats the same in the other languages), IRCC will accept it as an English or French language official document - i.e. it should not normally require anything more than any other English or French (only) language document. Usually that means just a photocopy.

BUT: you must check the country specific requirements that apply to that country and document (if applicable).

From some experience: other countries may not work like this. IRCC does - at least in my experience, but of course no guarantee.
