Hello
I have 2 questions if you please could help answering.

1) Do underage kids need to be present in Canada for PR card renewal if their parent is present?

2) Do you have to have a valid PR card during citizenship oath?

TIA

I believe all applicants for PR renewal are expected to be in Canada. Do you see any evidence anywhere that this is not applied to children?

I extrapolated that from oath ceremony obligations. Kids under 14 don't need to be present.

Why not extrapolate from Sask drivers license instead? They'd need a road test.

And yes, that was a joke, but with a point. Extrapolating from quote different things doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. To me anyway.

Any answer?

Every applicant is considered an individual and must meet their own RO and also must submit their own renewal application from Canada. They don’t need to remain in Canada during their regal application they must be present when submitting the renewal application.
