Do I still need IELTS for Immigration purpose for student visa?

Hi,

I already have an admission letter from one of the Canadian University. They waved my IELTS because I had a letter from my precious Indian University stating English was the language in which my Bachelors degree was taught.

So, please tell me, if I need to apply for IELTS for Immigration for student visa.

You cannot 'immigrate' on a student visa.

You would need IELTS Academic scores
