Hi ,

I am based in Vancouver on LMIA work permit since 2016 Nov. Have been working since 2008 and have proven experience as based on that I got LMIA work permit for Canada.

My Skill level NOC is 5241 Graphic designers and illustrators which is I think NOC B ( I checked on the CIC website)

my CELPIP score is L8 R7 W6 S8

Please tell me do I qualify for EE CEC (Canadia Experience class) ???

I need to confirm this information by asking members around.

Please don't send me the Calculator link as I have checked there it just tell me that I don't Qualify for FSW as I don't have 7 Band in each, as you can see I got W6 in Celpip.

BUT...............

When I check the CEC requirement on the website CIC its say I need minimum CLB 5 to Qualify for CEC

so what I am waiting for ......why don't I apply???

its because I have been in the Vancouver/Canada since Nov 2016 so need to wait for 1 year to get Canadian Experience.

Can anyone please re assure my assumptions/calculations on this please.

Thanks,

Manuce

Canadian Experience Class

The skills you need will depend on the group the job is classified in under the National Occupational Classification system (NOC). You must meet the minimum level for all four language abilities.

If your skilled work experience in Canada is in a

NOC 0 or A job, the minimum level is CLB 7 (English) or NCLC 7 (French).
NOC B job, the minimum level is CLB 5 (English) or NCLC 5 (French).

Yes - you understand correctly. You are not presently eligible for the FSW because of your language scores, and you are not eligible for CEC because you don't yet have one year of Canadian experience.

If you don't want to wait for CEC eligibility, and wanted to try for FSW sooner - you could re-take the CELPIP (or request a reassessment of the written score, sometimes people succeed). Or you could try the IELTS instead.

exactly you are reading my mind these are the exact two and only two options i have at the moment
wait for cec maturity 1yr time or ger score revaluate and get fingers crossed to get that one extra mark.
