Do I need to upload expired work permits?????

Hi everyone,

I have submitted my application on May 05 (AOR same day) but it just came to my mind that whether I need to include any permit (study permits/work permits) in my application? It was never asked in the documents checklists. I have scanned all of the passports pages, but I didnt include any of my work permits, they are all expired tho.

Now I am starting to worry. Should I raise a CSE for this matter?

As far as I know, you don't need work permits. I never uploaded any and they never asked for anything of that kind. As long as you have an authentic letter from the company you worked for, you should be fine, imo.

I do not think it's a problem. If CIC needs to verify you had a legal status while you were working, they'll request additional documents.
I, on my side, sent all my previous work permits, with T4 and reference letter, but it was my own choice and has never been a requirement.
So chill out !
