Apologies if this question has been dealt with before. I plan on purchasing a GIC which will be 10k for living expenses on a personal loan that my 2 brothers will pay back although it will be in my name.
1. Do I still need to provide bank statements when I apply for a study visa or does the GIC suffice as proof for living expenses?
2. Is it a problem that I buy GIC using a personal loan? Will this cause my student visa request to be declined?
3. Do I need to provide bank statements showing proof of payments to the university? I will pay my study fees directly to the university.
