Do I need to submit a new study permit application?
Hello everyone, please help me with this situation:
Last year my study permit application for September 2020 intake was approved (I got a PoA letter and visa stamp in my passport). But my parents didn't let me travel to Canada at that time because they worried about the COVID-19 outbreak in Canada, so I withdrew from my school program and didn't come to Canada.
This year I decided to apply again, and I already have new LoA from the same school in the past, so do I need to submit a new application to get a new PoA letter, or it's possible to use the old PoA letter (valid until 2023) with new LoA?

It's tricky as it's over a year that your SP was approved but not activated. You will need to contact IRCC to find out if your SP is still valid.
