Hello,

I and my wife are on Open Work Permit and currently working in Canada. I have been working in Canada for one year and my wife has been working here for 6 months.

My questions are - During the Express Entry Application do I have to show my wife's Indian work experience and does it hold any extra points for the same or I just need to show her current Canadian work experience.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It depends on who is the main applicant. Only main applicant can claim points for foreign work experience. So if your wife is only a secondary applicant, and you won't mention her foreign work experience in EE, then she does not have to proof Indian work experience.

Thank you for the reply.

I am going to be the main applicant in the application.

So I am assuming that in the profile to fill for ITA, I would just say no previous work experience though she has some?

Yes, it is right. After ITA you can mention her experience in the personal activity section, so you can avoid a lot of headaches collecting her experience letter...
