Ok so some of you may have seen me ask this before, but reading about different point of views I get extremely confused. So let me explain why..

I was on an IEC visa from february 11th 2012 - February 12th 2013
I extended my stay as a visitor online on february 10th 2013
Got the visa extension a month or so later
The visitor record that I received was valid until august 9th 2013
We haven't extended it furthermore since I'm assuming I am on implied status since I paid and included an OWP along with the inland PR application - WHICH they received on or around february 15th 2013 so after my IEC visa ran out and was on implied status since we extended and got the confirmation the night of the 10th of February[/b

Am I correct about not having to restore my status? I'd really like to know so please help me out I'd greatly appreciate it!!

Yes, to the best of my knowledge you are on implied visitor status until the the OWP application decision is made (After AIP of course.) Only problem with this is that if you got rejected or something goes wrong, (cross fingers all goes well.) You can not restore it 90 days from August 9.

Goodluck!

You have implied status, you're legally allowed to be in Canada, don't worry about it. The previous case that you read is way more complicated than yours, you have nothing to worry about.
