do I need to report the change of marriage status

I have submit the applying that my spouse will not accompany with me to Canada, but I still have not received the response from VO. I and my spouse live separately last week, do I need to report this situation to IRCC? I am on the procedure of provincial nominee program.

You must and should always report your marital status at your earliest convenience. This will delay the process but you still have to do it.
