Hi! How are you? Need your advice guys. I arrived here at Canada 10 days ago. I put in my Arrival Card that I'll be staying here at Canada for 20 days. I want to extend my stay for another 30 days. Do I need to advise CIC for my extension? Btw, I have multiple visa that will be expired next year of Nov. thank you in advance.

1. Unless the CBSA officer issued you with a visitor's record or put a date under the stamp under your passport, you don't have to do anything.

Hi PMM, CBSA officer doesn't issue me a visitors record. All I can see in my passport was a stamp and no dates were given.

Then you were admitted for 6 months from the date of the stamp.

Thanks PMM for the reply. I was advised my friend that I need to advise CIC as Arrival Record says only 20 days. Thinking I might be charge of misrepresentation.

1, Is your friend a CBSA officer or Immigration Officer? No, you don't have to inform IRCC
