Do I need police certificate and fingerprint in Canada?

Hi,

On the CIC instruction guide says:

" you and your family memebers who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide a valid police certificare. These document are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for 6 consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18"

I already have the police certificate from Taiwan. Does it mean I don't need to require another police certificate in Canada?

What about finger print?

1. As it says "other than Canada" you don't need a Canadian PCC or fingerprints.
