Do I need job offer

Hi,

I am currently working in Quebec and have an open work permit. I am applying for Mon Projet - Skilled Worker program. I asked if my work place can provide me with a job offer (they said yes), however I am not sure they will get it.

Can I apply without the need for that Job offer from my current work place, as I finished my Master from Concordia University and worked there as research assistant for 1.5years.

Any help, is really appreciated.

If I remembered correctly, you don't need to have a job offer to apply under Mon Projet. Since you were a student and are working in Quebec, you are exempt from the cap for the no. of QSW applicants - you can apply anytime. If you feel confident about your french ability, you can consider going for the PEQ, which is, supposedly, much faster. I'm not sure if PEQ is a better pathway to CSQ because tonnes of eligible applicants have got their application pending. Some got absolutely no response from the MIDI since the MIDI acknowledged receiving their documents.

As of now, nobody has clear idea what's going on.
