Hello guys...
I know this is a weird question but I am going to apply PR under Normal paper file... And I add my birth certificate translated into English from my native language...and I attest that translation from notary public and he put valid for embassy stamp on it... Now my immigration lawyer saying that sometimes cic don't accept just the translation with that stamp I need an affidavit from the notary public guy saying or confirming that this translation is from original certificate and this is related to that such and such person... But this sounds stupid to me.... Does anyone know that I really need that affidavit or will this be okay to submit with attested original translation... Please answer... Thanks so much....

For translated documents read the link below -
2 key things
1) Affidavit from the person who translated
2) The translator should be certified.

I am from Delhi and when I had this done, i got one such complany from Google search.
