I apologize if this gets asked a lot, I tried searching but it seems most of the threads are the other way around, a Canadian wanting to work remotely for a U.S. company.
I was offered a remote job for a company in Canada. It would be as a 1099 independent contractor, not a W-2 employee. The position is very specific, being a Licensed Veterinary Technician (which has a college degree and licensure) is required as well as significant veterinary clinical experience, so I would not be competing with the overwhelming majority of Canadians. I live in the U.S. and would not be going to Canada in person for any reason, just working remotely from here. Do I need a visa or work permit? If so, which one?
Thanks!
