Do I need a transit visa if passing through Europe on the way to Canada?

I'm an Indian national who just got my PPR last week.

Planning to fly KLM to Toronto which has a stopover in Amsterdam for 3 hours. Just wanted to know if I need a transit Schengen visa for this?

Normally, Indian citizens require a transit visa, but since I have a Canadian residence permit, I wonder if I would still need one.

Do not worry, no visa required. I have traveled myself through the same route. I am a Pakistani.

No visa required since you are not going to step out of airport.
