Do I need a declaration of severance of common-law relationship?

Hi everyone,

Just about to finish my wife's spousal class inland PR application.

Upon my research I read that some people had to include a declaration of severance of common law relationship

I was with living with an ex from 2015 to 2018.

Do I need to provide a declaration? It wasn't on the checklist but I read that some people online stating that they needed it
