I traveled to the US first in 2012 and was there for about two months. I have been there to visit several times (about 30) totaling 80 cumulative days. One other trip I was there for about 50 days. All this added up sums to about 200 total days spent in the US over a 6 year period.

Do I need to get a US criminal check for my PR application? I see the rule states that it counts when it is cumulative, but I'm unsure if all of these small trips that I took for simple vacations are intended to count toward this total.

Thanks!

I don't think you need a PCC for these short trips. May be you can mention this in the Letter of Explanation to the Visa Officer. That should suffice.

You need one assuming you spent those 200 days in the States since the age of 18.

Yes you will need it, because those 6 months are counted cumulative (it can be several shorter trips)
