I have been with my current company for the past 4 years which is sufficient to get max points on the CRS.

However, over the past 10 years I have worked at 3 other companies (small private contractors actually) from whom I have experience certificates totaling another 4 years. I think it would be very difficult/impossible to get letters of reference from them as they are in another part of the country and I didn't part on good terms with one of them. Is it a good idea to just provide notarised copies for these when required and not claim additional years experience as it would make no difference to my CRS score?

You can leave those experiences out of your application as they add nothing except nuisance value.

Just ensure that this 4 year of experience (13 points) is enough to get you to at least 67/100 on the FSW grid.

Thanks, I think I would make the points cutoff.
Would they have problem with the unexplained gaps as it has been 10 years since I graduated and I can show job experience for only last 4 years?

If you have other things to prove those jobs, such as contracts, pay stubs, tax forms, I would include them. It will show what you were doing, and you don't need to conclusively prove anything, since you don't need points for those jobs.

If you have absolutely nothing to show, then I would take them out from work history in your application, and mention them only in your personal history. That will make it clear that you weren't lazing on a beach for 6 years, but you won't be asked for documentation to prove the work experience.

I would like to show experience of one of the previous jobs while applying for jobs through jobbank.ca as it is more specialized than my current work. Is there any restriction regarding showing experience not mentioned in my EE profile with prospective employers through jobbank.

you only have to fetch experience letters from those employers whom you are using to claim points :)

This should be possible. What you put on the JB has no impact on your PR application.

Asivad,

Should I send docs for my non EE experience when applying for OOPNP after interest Email?

If it doesn't add any points, you can leave it out.

Asivad.. Same question..

Is it necessary to declare all work history in the past 10 years.. and do I ONLY have to show employment record & NOC matching work experience for work that I am claiming points for.. Is that correct?

NOT necessary to declare all work experience in Work history section. Only the experience you're claiming points for needs to be shown here.

I am showing work from 2010-2013 for which i am claiming points. I am currently working but that NOC is not appropriate, so should i leave a gap 2014-2015 in work history?

You can choose to do that if you're still eligible for the program just based on the experience between 2010 and 2013.

Asivad,

But we should not leave any gaps between our 10 yr history right? Obviously we will send docs. only for Edu. and work exp. that is mentioned in EE profile.
OOPNP application clearly says dont leave any gap.

Don't leave any gaps - state Employed or Unemployed or Education as the case might be. But if you're not claiming points for a particular work experience, you need not submit documents to prove that.
